BasicsWhat is $agency?
$agency is the token of Agencydotfun, a site that turns declassified government records into short, sourced case files. The token is the access key for the planned agencydotfun launchpad. It is not a share, a claim on revenue, or a promise of anything.
The token and the launchpad are coming soon and are NOT live: nothing on this site has launched, and there is nothing to buy. The platform pages are a mock preview with no wallet connection and no chain calls.
BasicsWhat is agencydotfun?
A planned launchpad where each token is tied to one declassified file or documented conspiracy claim (a ‘lore file’). Only wallets with Clearance can open a file’s slot and launch a token for it.
It is a design in progress. The rules, parameters and contracts are drafts that need testing, an audit and legal review before any live use.
BasicsWhat is ‘lore’?
Lore is the story attached to a file: what the record documents, what people claim about it, and where the two differ. Every lore file links to its sources and carries a status tag (Verified, Alleged, Unknown).
ClearanceWhat is Clearance?
Clearance is the permission to open a file’s slot and launch one token for it. You earn it by holding at least about $1,000 worth of $agency continuously through one 7-day Clearance Cycle. It is tracked per wallet and can be lost.
ClearanceWhy is there a holding requirement?
Three reasons: it makes launch slots scarce enough that each file gets a real owner instead of a spam race; it filters out throwaway wallets; and it keeps launchers exposed to the same long-term outcome as the people who trade their token.
It is a filter, not a guarantee of quality or safety. A cleared launcher can still launch a token that loses all its value.
ClearanceHow does the 7-day Clearance Cycle work?
Each day a keeper posts a checkpoint: your balance, and the lowest balance you had since the previous checkpoint. If every checkpoint in the cycle is at or above the required token amount, the cycle completes after 7 days and you are Cleared. A single dip below the line restarts the clock.
ClearanceDoes the end-of-day balance count, or the minimum?
The minimum. The system looks at the lowest balance you held during the cycle, not just the balance at the end. Selling below the line and buying back before the snapshot still counts as a dip.
ClearanceHow is $1,000 converted into a token amount?
The USD threshold is converted using the lower of a time-weighted average price and the latest spot price. A short pump cannot cut the requirement much, and a sudden fall raises it at once. The amount is also clamped between a minimum and maximum so a bad price feed cannot set a nonsense requirement.
ClearanceWhat if the $agency price changes while I hold?
Inside a cycle, the requirement is checked against the price at each checkpoint, so a falling price can push you below the line without you selling anything and reset the cycle. After you launch, your requirement is locked at the token amount from the day you claimed, so a price drop alone does not revoke your slot. Only reducing your holdings does.
ClearanceWhat happens if I move tokens between wallets?
Any transfer that takes the sending wallet below the line resets that wallet’s cycle, and the receiving wallet starts its own cycle from the first checkpoint that shows the balance. Moving tokens never carries Clearance with it.
ClearanceHow does the platform deal with farming and multiple wallets?
Layers, none of them perfect: minimum-balance tracking, a wallet-age requirement, one slot per file, one active slot per wallet, a cooldown between claims, a penalty period after revocation, and an exclusion list for exchanges, pools and known contracts. Splitting holdings across many wallets does not help, because every wallet needs its own full threshold.
Determined actors can still try to game it. Report anything suspicious and see the threat model in the project spec.
ClearanceCan someone borrow tokens for a moment to pass?
Not for a full cycle. Clearance needs the minimum balance over seven days, so a borrow-and-return within one block, one transaction or one day cannot pass. Borrowing the tokens for the whole week is possible in principle and has a cost, which is part of why the threshold is a capital lock-up and not just a check.
LaunchingWhy only one token per file?
So every file has a single canonical token and a single accountable launcher. It stops copy-paste launches of the same story. If a slot is revoked, the old token is delisted and the slot reopens for a different cleared agent.
LaunchingIs there a limit on how many tokens one wallet can launch?
Yes. The proposal is one active slot per wallet at a time, a cooldown between claims, and a claim expiry (a slot claimed but not launched goes back to the pool after a few days). The numbers are drafts.
LaunchingWhat are the fees?
Fees are not final. The draft idea is a small trading fee split between the platform and the creator, with the creator’s share forfeited on revocation. No fee level is published and none should be assumed. You also pay network gas on any chain transaction.
RevocationWhat happens if I sell $agency after I launched?
If your holdings fall below the line that was locked when you claimed, your slot is revoked. The token is delisted from the platform, your creator allocation and fees are forfeited, you are barred from that file and from new Clearance for a penalty period, and the file’s slot reopens for any other cleared agent. Sellers other than the launcher are not affected.
RevocationCan a token be deleted?
No. An onchain token contract cannot be deleted by anyone. What the platform does is delist it (it disappears from the site, the index and the official links), forfeit the creator’s allocation and fees, and reopen the slot. The old contract keeps existing and can still be traded elsewhere. Do not treat ‘delisted’ as ‘gone’.
If you hold a delisted token, you hold something the platform no longer vouches for. You may not be able to sell it easily.
RevocationWhat does ‘the file goes back to the pool’ mean?
After the reopen delay the lore slot becomes Open again. Any other cleared agent can claim it and launch a new token. The new token is a different contract and has no connection to the delisted one.
RevocationCan a slot be revoked for other reasons?
Yes: fabricated or misleading lore, an undisclosed insider share, detected wallet-splitting to dodge the rules, or impersonation. A guardian role can revoke with a written reason that is published. The draft process includes an appeal window.
Safety & riskIs this financial advice?
No. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing is an offer or solicitation. We do not tell anyone to buy, hold or sell any token.
Safety & riskAre there any guarantees?
None. Clearance does not mean a token is safe, legitimate or will keep any value. Token prices can fall to zero. Smart contracts can have bugs. Keepers and price feeds can fail. The project can change or stop.
Safety & riskWhat are the main risks?
Total loss of funds; illiquid or manipulated markets; contract bugs and exploits; centralised parts of the design (keeper, guardian, price feed, delisting); scams that use a real file as bait; regulatory changes; and phishing aimed at holders. Only use money you can afford to lose completely.
Safety & riskWhat does DYOR mean here?
Do your own research. Read the original document, check the token’s disclosed allocation, check who the launcher is and what they hold, and never rely on a status tag or a Clearance badge as a verdict on a token.
Safety & riskHow do I avoid fake tokens and impersonators?
Only use links from the official site. The platform lists a single token per file; any other token that claims to be ‘the’ token for a file is not. We will never DM you first, ask for a seed phrase or ask you to ‘verify’ your wallet on another site.
Lore & sourcesWhat do Verified, Alleged and Unknown mean?
Verified: documented in primary records or confirmed by reputable inquiry or reporting. Alleged: reported or claimed but not established in the public record. Unknown: unresolved, no claim made. The tag describes the claim about the file, not the token, and it can change when new records appear.
Lore & sourcesIs the lore educational or entertainment?
The case files are educational summaries that link to the original records. A token named after a file is a separate product made by a third-party launcher. The tag on a file never endorses the token.
Lore & sourcesHow are conspiracy files chosen?
Only files that rest on public, checkable sources are listed: declassified documents, court rulings, official inquiries and reputable reporting. Each is written up as ‘documented vs claimed’ and reviewed before it becomes a slot. We avoid files that target private individuals, minors, victims or ongoing criminal cases, and we do not list claims we cannot source.
Lore & sourcesHow do I report fake or misleading lore?
Use the Tips page and choose the correction option, or report it from the file’s page once the platform is live. Include the file, the claim and a source. Fabricated lore can lead to revocation of the slot. Reports are triaged, and nothing is published until verified.
LaunchingCan I launch a token about anything?
No. You can only launch for a listed file you hold the slot for. You cannot launch for a file that is not listed, or for a person or topic outside the vault.
LegalIs this legal where I live?
We cannot say. Token launchpads and tokens are regulated differently from country to country, and some jurisdictions restrict or ban them or require licences. It is your responsibility to check the rules where you live. The platform may block access in some regions, and nothing here is offered to anyone where it would be unlawful.
LegalWho is the operator and which law applies?
Not decided. The legal entity, governing law and dispute terms will be set after legal review, and published before anything goes live. Until then there is no live service.
LegalHas a lawyer looked at the launchpad rules?
Not yet. The project spec says that a qualified legal review of the launchpad design (including the holding requirement, creator allocations, fees, delisting, forfeiture and geoblocking) is required before any live launch. Treat all rules on this site as drafts.
LegalWhat data does the platform keep?
This preview keeps nothing: it does not connect to a wallet and sends nothing to a server. A live version would read public chain data. The final privacy policy will be published before launch.
BasicsIs anything on the platform pages real?
No. The Clearance dashboard, the slot list and the launch form are a mock with simulated data. The file list comes from the real case files, but the Open/Claimed/Revoked states are made up. No contract is deployed and nothing here touches a blockchain.
Disclaimer. Educational content only. $agency and anything launched on agencydotfun is not financial advice. No promises of returns or value. Tokens can lose all value. The launchpad and the $agency token are coming soon and NOT live: this preview is a mock with no wallet, no chain, no transactions, and nothing to buy. Laws on tokens differ by country; check yours. Do your own research.
