Netanyahu’s “Iran nuclear archive” presentation
Alleged: Reported or claimed; not established in the public record.
On 30 April 2018 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented what he said were copies of 55,000 pages of Iranian nuclear information and 55,000 files on discs. He said the originals were “in a very safe place” and gave no details of how Israel obtained them. Iran’s deputy foreign minister called it “childish”.
Documented
The presentation and the White House’s statement that it was examining the information carefully are on record, as reported by CNN.
Claimed, disputed or not established
The authenticity and the acquisition method were not independently established in the source opened. Iranian officials called the claims laughable and ridiculous.
