'MİT trucks' searches, 2013–2014

Prosecutors and gendarmes tried to search trucks accompanied by MİT officials; per testimony reviewed by Reuters the loads included rocket parts and ammunition bound for Islamist-held Syria, while the government said the trucks carried humanitarian aid. Reuters could not confirm some testimony, and what was carried remains disputed in these sources.

Journalist Can Dündar sentenced over the 'MİT trucks' report

A Turkish court sentenced exiled former Cumhuriyet editor Can Dündar to more than 27 years for obtaining state secrets for espionage and supporting terrorism, over the 2015 report on the trucks. In 2016 Turkey's Constitutional Court had found his pre-trial detention unlawful. This is a court ruling, not a finding about what the trucks carried.
