'Parallel ABIN' probe: search warrants target the former director
AP reported federal police carrying out 21 search warrants in a probe of alleged political spying. Police suspect a group inside ABIN used the FirstMile software to monitor targets, per a Supreme Court justice's decision; Alexandre Ramagem, the former director, denied having accessed, used or managed the system.

Federal police indict Ramagem and others in the 'Abin Paralela' inquiry
Agência Brasil (Portuguese) reports the police indicted lawmaker Alexandre Ramagem, ABIN's head under Bolsonaro, and Carlos Bolsonaro among 36 names over alleged illegal monitoring of officials. Ramagem had denied the scheme and Carlos Bolsonaro called the operation politically motivated. An indictment is an allegation, and Jair Bolsonaro was not indicted in this inquiry.
